11/25/2006 - Entire repeater system was powered off to install a UPS on the gateway, router and DSL modem. The RF hardware was also placed on a DC battery backup system. When system was powered up, the gateway was brought online and operational.
11/30/2006 to 12/1/2006 - Gateway server was not responding to remote login requests. Gateway was rebooted at the repeater site and full functionality was restored. Gateway was locked up for some unknown reason.
12/11/2006 - 12/13/2006 DSL modem was found in "down" state. Modem ws rebooted and operation verified with ISP. Possible telephone line "down" caused issue, but no consensus. Modem will be replaced for corrective action if situation repeats. The repeater remained operational for local communications. CAUSE/SOLUTION: The LINE indicator was not illuminated on DSL modem. Power cycled the DSL modem and rebooted the gateway. Everything returned to normal operation.
12/29/2006 - 12/30/2006 Gateway offline for US_Root database cleanup. The clean up was not successful due to an administrator not following the correct procedure. Another cleanup will be scheduled in the future.
1/27/2007: Gateway was brought offline to clone the hard drive on the server. The gateway was down between 08:00 and 12:00 CST. There is an issue with DSTAR monitor not working and that issue is being researched.
