A DSTAR -> APRS Gateway is now operational in Huntsville, AL. The gateway is a µSmartDigi(TM) D-Gate(TM) D-STAR Gateway by Rich Painter (AB0VO) at
http://www.usmartdigi.com/.
The gateway takes the GPS position data from a DSTAR radio and formats for APRS transmission on the APRS network. This enables integration of DSTAR GPS position reports into the APRS network.
